Our training academy is designed to help develop the skills that a fundraiser needs to succeed. This includes essential knowledge of the charity sector, understanding how to build effective relationships with supporters and how to ensure compliance standards are met at all times.
Our ITOL (The Institute of Training and Occupational Learning) accredited program also helps explain company culture and employee benefits, so our fundraisers understand how they are supported as part of our team.
Our comprehensive training program is more than just classroom learning; it’s an interactive experience that teaches how to use the right techniques for effective communication and engaging supporters.
We’re proud of our Award Winning Training Academy, which ensures our fundraisers are fully prepared and motivated to raise vital funds for charity partners. Through committed excellence, we ensure that each fundraiser represents the charity to the highest possible standards.
BRC were awarded ITOL accreditation in January 2023, which means all BRC training programmes have achieved a quality standard bench marked as excellent by the awarding body, the benefit to BRC employees attending our certified training courses, are the award of a globally recognised certificate issued by ITOL.
Our residential charity fundraisers come from a wide variety of backgrounds with some of them wanting a change of pace, environment or a new career where they make a real difference. Through our comprehensive training programme, they develop key skills to support their great work ethic.
Our fundraising venues are carefully selected to offer our team the correct surroundings and demographics to represent our charities and include shopping centres, town centres, regional and national shows, with exclusivity in international airports.
